Our accessibility goal
The Institute is working toward alignment with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA. This statement describes a continuing improvement goal and should not be read as a certification that every page, document, plugin, or third-party service currently conforms.
Measures we are taking
- Use semantic headings, landmarks, lists, labels, and link text.
- Support keyboard navigation and visible keyboard focus.
- Provide text alternatives for meaningful images.
- Maintain readable color contrast, type sizes, spacing, and responsive layouts.
- Associate form controls with instructions, labels, and error messages.
- Avoid relying only on color, position, motion, or sound to convey meaning.
- Review new public documents and page updates for accessibility barriers.
Known limitations
Some legacy documents, third-party payment or form services, embedded media, social platforms, or externally hosted content may not yet provide equivalent access. The Institute will work with responsible providers and offer a reasonable alternative when feasible.
Requesting assistance
If you encounter a barrier, please identify the page address, feature, document, or task involved; describe the problem; and state the format or accommodation that would help. Do not include unnecessary medical or other sensitive information.
Alternative formats
When feasible, the Institute may provide information in an alternative electronic format, accessible document, plain-text version, or direct assistance appropriate to the request and available resources.
Ongoing review
Accessibility is part of the Institute’s broader public-benefit and accountability work. Feedback will be considered when prioritizing website repairs, document remediation, service-provider selection, and future digital development.
