There are many ways to contribute.

We welcome professionals, clinicians, researchers, educators, students, caregivers, community advocates, retirees, and other individuals who share the Institute’s commitment to integrity, inclusion, learning, and public benefit.

Volunteer roles are based on current needs, available supervision, qualifications, location, scheduling, and program funding. Some opportunities may be remote; others may require on-site participation in Atlanta or at a partner location.

Research support

Assist with literature reviews, participant coordination, data organization, research communications, and study-related administration under qualified supervision.

Education and events

Support seminars, workshops, public-learning programs, educational materials, registration, logistics, and participant engagement.

Community outreach

Help connect rehabilitation and wellness resources with patients, caregivers, families, community groups, and underserved populations.

Development and grants

Contribute to prospect research, grant preparation, fundraising campaigns, donor stewardship, and mission-aligned sponsorship outreach.

Communications

Support writing, design, photography, social media, newsletters, storytelling, and responsible translation of scientific information.

Operations

Assist with administrative projects, records, scheduling, program coordination, technology, and other organizational needs.
