EVENT STATUS

No conference dates are currently scheduled.

Future dates, locations, virtual access, registration, speakers, abstract calls, sponsorship terms, accessibility services, and fees will appear here only after they are confirmed. The Institute is currently seeking qualified convening and program partners.

PURPOSE

Connect research questions with the people they affect.

Institute conferences will be designed to share evidence, identify responsible research priorities, strengthen professional and community education, and create space for interdisciplinary collaboration. Programs may address rehabilitation science, preventive health, healthy aging, outcomes, access, patient education, research methods, and emerging medical innovation.

Conference content will distinguish education from promotion. Sponsors will not control scientific conclusions, speaker selection, or the presentation of results, and relevant financial or institutional relationships will be disclosed.

POSSIBLE PROGRAM ELEMENTS

Multiple ways to participate and learn.

Scientific sessions

Keynotes, panels, research presentations, methods discussions, and evidence reviews.

Abstracts and posters

Clearly reviewed opportunities to present proposed, active, or completed work with status disclosed.

Community learning

Plain-language sessions developed for patients, caregivers, community organizations, and the public.

Partnership forums

Structured conversations among institutions seeking responsible research, education, and access collaborations.

ACCESS & SUPPORT

Participation support will be tied to available resources.

The Institute may offer reduced registration, student assistance, travel support, or scholarships when funding becomes available. Each opportunity will use published eligibility criteria and an objective selection process. No assistance is currently promised or guaranteed.

Conference evaluation may include attendance, participant feedback, knowledge outcomes, partnership activity, accessibility, and community reach. Findings will be used to improve future events.
